Great pic's Ian clap

I've always struggled with getting the whole of a rally car in focus cos it can be sliding / moving in different directions. Probably down to a mixture of my ability and kit - do you have any advice on either.....?

The car belongs to Ian Jemison, he was seeded at 71 but finished 30th winning his class. he doesn't do that many events in the car mainly the Yorkshire based ones.

I always use only the centre focus point and make sure you have plenty depth of field by increasing the iso to maintain your chosen shutter speed, then it's just a case of focusing on the car and tracking it until you take the shot.

Marcel in the Ginetta having slightly more luck on gravel than he did on the snow of the Wyedean then - he struggled to get any traction at all in Wales.

Yes it was good to see the Ginetta get a finish, hopefully they have ironed out the reliability problems.
