Over the weekend I found one of the steering gaiters on the rack has a split. I’ve now removed both and have new ones to fit, however unlike the manual rack on my other car which required about a pint of oil in it when the gaiters are replaced the PAS rack appears not to require this. Is this correct , I’ve checked the Bible but no clues, so help?

Do you have the part numbers for the gaiters?

Mine have both started to split so I'm going to order new ones (no local dealer to ask).

Hi Dave,

Need to get an aerial amplifier soon..

Anyway, TMS can supply the gaiters or you can get a pair of "El Cheapo" from your local Motor Bitz shop, these come with three sizes at each end just get a stanly knife to select the correct size. RING TMS...
