Prices on TAX

Anybody know what price the robbing BA***RDS at dvla are charging for 6 months tax now as we own "gas guzzlers" ?????????

Same as we did before.... Unless your Wedge was made in this millenium, it is still classed as a PLG vehicle. Cost me £175 for a year last month for the 520.

Only asked this steve as i have just been stood in the post office queue to tax the Laguna(i know its a renault) and the price actually went up from £96.25 on the renewal form to £99 when i got to the counter like i said before robbing Basds

Having taxed mine Saturday - £99.

If you only want 6 months then tax it for a year and cash it in when you are finished. You get refunded depending on the postmark date (not postcode - d'oh!) of the letter. It's pro-rata, so you only pay £87.50 for 6 months. However, if it's still nice in November, why not keep driving for another month? Up to you.

Thats got to be the best suggestion for ages N1 why didnt i think of that no roof down though eh
