Any experience with SOR?
Discussion
Am unfortunately having to sell my pride and joy Tuscan S. (Job, wife etc..)
Does anyone have any experience of SOR with main dealers? What should I be looking to pay out for 'preparation' and what should be the expected return? Advertised it once on Autotrader but not many calls. Currently on PH classified but have mostly attracted tyre kickers
All ideas welcome.

When I was looking to sell SOR last year, the figure of £4.000 was put forward. I thought that was steep also considering how much values had dropped anyway. Apart from that, what put me off was the thought of my pride and joy sitting either inside or outside a dealership with every tyre kicker and kids swarming all over it. Cold start test drives, "shudder" . Decided that in the end if I really had to sell I would rather just get it over and done with rather than having my car back after not selling in who knows what condition.

I would recommend Kerridges in Needham Market on a SOR basis - I bought my Tuscan S from Stephen Kerridge who was selling the car on a SOR basis and you won't find a more genuine guy. Also recommend you get in touch with Rob Ingleby (Find a Sports Car) who will put you in touch with serious buyers if he thinks its a good buy - very straightforward and reliable and both nice guys to deal with which is refreshing.

Another vote for Kerridges, totally straight people, have dealt with them on and off for 15 years, buying and selling via SOR.
Need some help please.
Moving job soon so unfortunately my baby needs to go
Had a few interested parties thru pistonheads but lots and lots of TIMEWASTERS. it's been really frustrating so I've decided to do an SOR with my dealer.
Any idea what a 2003 S with 19K should be priced at? Not sure what the market is doing at the moment....I'm sure my dealer will price it sensibly but just wondering.
