Guitar hero 2 360
Discussion
Been around on PS2 for quite a long time and yes, it is great fun.
It's become one of those games (we hammered it at the start) we dig out
now and again for a laugh.
Get two guitars and play some coop rifts with a mate!
The downloadable content could be interesting too.On the PS2 version, they had
to hack the game to replace songs and it wasn't something that the average joe would be
bothered to learn to do just to get new music.
Hopefuly the 360 version will have songs online you can grab though.
There is a free PC game based on guitar hero actually. You are supposed to hold your keyboard
like a guitar and press some buttons. Can't remember the name/ link now though.

I dont suppose somene could measure the length of the cable could they. In our house the xbox sits under the stairs and then gets distributed so i need to work out if i should buy it and train the cable aorund or hold out for the wireless one.
hi mate...
its about 2.5-3m long at best.
Do what you can to get it working, because it is really a fantastic game ...Im totally loving it.
Just unlocked sweet child of mine by GNR and Jessica (the Top gear tune). Apparently there are some queen tracks available on Xbox live tomorrow.
Its one of those games that you just cant put down. I rarely play games for much more than an hour nowadays, but this has seen some 3/4 hour sessions already.
My fingers are damn sore.
Its certainly worth getting. The old man (Mr NucSquash) was feeling abit down today so I took him out and got this game. Got home about 3:30ish and we have only just stopped playing it. Its a fab game, good fun and well designed I think. The graphics are good too, watching the drummer and singer do their thing is reall good.

I'm assuming this is pretty much identical to the ps2 version?
better graphics..more songs and lots more downloadable music.
Not worth buying though if you already have the PS2 version. Graphics are the last thing you are thinking about and there is not much difference, the songs seem to be the same as far as I can see. If you have GH1 and 2 on the PS2 you have 120+ songs anyway, which is more than the 360 and cheaper to buy both of them.
The only interesting thing is the downloadable songs, but even these are supposedly songs that were on GH1 on PS2 anyway.

It really is more addictive than crack, finally trained my pinky finger up to recognise that the blue button is it's job and working my way through getting 5* ratings on all the medium songs, still have fears of arthritus for when I get to Hard..
Speaking from past experience there?

- though I would imagine that the 360 versions graphics are a bit better if you have a HD telly.
