On the lookout for a TVR S. Seen one with a chipped Windscreen. Does anyone know where (hopefully in or near Sth.Yorkshire)one can be bought,installed etc. & approx.cost.

Auto windscreens in Leeds did mine a couple of years ago, £50 excess on insurance from memory. I may be thinking of selling mine (91 S3 full service history 88k, used daily) e-mail me if interseted. steveatgallitodotcodotuk

Apparently Autoglass list them as TVR Griffith "S" tourer number 1100WCL

I suppose you need to call them and confirm

I got one from this chap a few years ago now, but he has supplied others since .... and then sorted fitting out with a local fitter

Had a nightmare with mine when vanity got the better of me and I decided to get the cloudy patch removed.

First screen they bought was a Wedge one, second was for an S apparently, and fitted fine, except for a gap at the bottom bit enough to get your fist through! I eventually ended up with the screen for a Tuscan racer which fit perfectly.

Moral of the story, ensure you've got the right screen ready, otherwise you end up with a screenless car for a few months On the upside though, fitting Leven dashboard vents becomes far easier with the screen removed

Go with the guy on the link below posted by Hoover. www .Heated windscreens etc. I got one from him a couple of years ago and the price and service were excellent. Be a bit careful about getting Auto glass or similar to fit it as their fitters are not often experienced dealing with the intricacies of a TVR screen.....
