It's just a eurobox service though:

00:01 - Remove sump plug
00:10 - Oil has finished draining, first cup of tea emptied
00:11 - Replace sump plug
00:15 - New oil has been inserted
00:16 - Check number of wheels - should be 4 plus or minus 25%
00:20 - Second cup of tea emptied
00:21 - Take car on 10 mile test drive
00:22 - Back from 10 mile test drive, confirm car handled and braked properly at 300mph
00:25 - Place oily fingerprints on upholstery
00:30 - Wash car with dirty, pre-gritted sponge
00:35 - Ask manager to think of some extra parts to add to the bill
00:40 - Scratch a exterior panel
00:45 - Service finished, give extortionate bill to customer

OK, this sounds good in theory.

But there is one flaw;
If your car only takes 1 hour to service it means you miss out on the big advantage of a normal full day service: The madatory caining of the coutesy car

There have been numerous main dealers who complete a full service in 45 minutes...so what is new?

Used to get a bottle of port and a fruit cake left on the passenger seat after servicing by local jaguar dealer - but that was before they went down market with these s-type thingies
