Hi All

As you can see in the pic below I can't mount the oil cooler where it used to be! The water/oil cooler type is out also as both my cooling pipes run down the right hand side. I am thinking maybe at the rear along side the gearbox. Has anyone mounted the oil cooler in a different place?

Regards Dave

There may be room for it above the gearbox tail and between the exhausts. I think you will need a fan on it. Should be easy enough to extend to gearbox rear mount to include a cooler bracket.

I have my Oil Cooler and my Intercooler both mounted in the LH side pod. I bonded an alloy angle to the top of the tank and the two coolers site vertically.

This is the only photo I have from early days when I was toying with SS mesh..... you can see the bracket through the mesh. The top of the two coolers are fixed to the glass return on the side pod - same as AC.

edited..... just had a closer look at the photos...... you have the Reverie intakes so you wont be able to do as I have done

how about a water cooled one, that could then be fitted below the headers on the same side as before (as done by a few other Ultimas).
