Has anyone retro fitted pdc to a CSL? If so what does it entail? Are CSL's all pre wired for pdc?

I was in a dealers looking at a CSL in January, and they were quoting about £500 to retrofit it...

I looked into it myself as there are quite a few CSL's out there that don't have it and it'd be an absolute must for me, if you want a 'bmw' solution rather than third party then take a look at www.realoem.com for an idea on the parts and prices involved.

Thanks for the link. It was on my list of must haves too. I will call BMW tommorow to see if CSL's are pre wired.If they are it should be quite simple to fit pdc.

Good luck then. I asked the same question at my dealers on a CSL I was looking to purchase a while ago, and I was told it wasn't pre-wired. The sales guy I know there even said he probably wouldn't get it done himself because of the hassle and cost of fitting it.

Hi

In the last issue of BMW Car Club magazine there was an advert for, if I remember correctly, a system the is a number plate holder and so is very discreet. Also easy install on any car. I will try and find the mag and pass on details. It was a lot cheaper than £500. Worth a look.

Thats a shame if it isn't pre wired. I will keep you posted.

I think I need a PDC system for the front bumper as I'm frightened of clipping the carbon splitters!
