Depends really. All Garmin nüvi 600-series GPS units are superb, but they now range from the 600 to the 680 in 6 variants!! See www.garmin.com/automotive/products.html#automotive . If you want the best for European coverage, I'd suggest the nüvi 660. I've been totally satisfied with mine!
I think the 'T' just means that it's packaged with the GTM 21 TMC traffic receiver/power cable? My nüvi 660 is a 'Euro' version which does not have the FM transmitter facility to play audio through the car's FM radio.
A huge advantage of the nüvi 600-series is that their dimensions make them easy to pop into a jacket pocket when not in use. Not something which can be said of systems from other manufacturers!

I have a 660 and am pleased with it. I value the larger screen so would choose that over a 300 series. I don't know what the 200 series will offer. You mention faster - I have no issues with the speed of the 660. What I would most like to change about it is that you cannot use routes with more than one waypoint (the workaround is to set you waypoints as destinations one after another, and then retrieve each one as you pass the previous one from 'recent destinations'. I would also like to be able to download route files from a PC. Another very minor change I would like is that when I mute the voice directions I wish it did not also mute the phone including the phone ring!
I have the 610t and it is brilliant
significantly better than tom tom
routes are generally spot on and the TMC module is ok but can be a little time lagged so you can still get caught in a TJ...
the hands free works well but does not fully pair with all phones
Mp3 is ?
Its got a very dangerous V max facility too....
if given the choice I would plump for the later one with the wireless transmitter to route it through the radio
thumbs up from me
nice and slim too
cheapest place I found was Comet.....

Agree, 660 is superb.
The non-querty keyboard is a pain though - it would be so easy for Garmin to reprogram. Also when you return to the address edit screen it loses what you last typed - would be good to have it stored.
