Uploading pictures

Hi,
I am new to the forum.
I am having difficulty uploading pictures.
Can you give me some tips as i can see everyone else has no probs.

On PH you have to host your pictures yourself. Some forums have a "pic upload" facility - PH doesn't.

So first you need a URL to your picture hosted on Photobox or your own web-site or similar.

www.dwmhughes.demon.co.uk/thruxton/T1.JPG

Then enclose the URL in [ p i c ] [ / p i c ] tags (spaces inserted to stop the tags being processed)

Like so



If you "quote" my post you should be able to see the "source code" that embeds a picture...

You need to use the link to the actual picture itself, rather than your "ImageShack Profile"

To be honest i'm not all that used to imageshack.. someone else may be able to help?

You appear to be trying to link to an album rather than a sinlge pic so it isn't working.

Best bet is to pen the pic you want to post, right click on it and copy the properties line which gives the address of the actual photograph then paste that line into your post between the [pic] or [img] tags (remember to put a slash in the closing tags inorder to close the link.

Yeah - I was showing him the fastest lines around Thruxton.


This is clearly monumentally untrue. Its PHer y2blade braving my lunatic and only partially skilled approach to Track Driving.
