The Chinese in Wrecclesham is quite good (can't rememeber it's name), really strange location in the old pub though?
Not sure what the Bengal Lounge is like to eat in but if the take away is anything to go by I can recomend it.

Was about to recomend this myself. Their oriental mixed starter is amazing.

Urgh nooooooooo! Over priced to the extreme (well, seemed that way both times I went). The fillet steaks aren't what I'd expect for 20 quid each.

Cafe Rouge at the bottom of Castle Street is lick, The Waterwitch at Odiham is also pretty nice (especially their fillet mignon with stilton crustlick), and Blubeckers in Odiham is also okay... Chicken there is disgusting though, and a bit too much of a chain restaurant to be really nice. For a quick meal and alternative to a takeaway, I like Nando's in Guildford, too.

Had a couple of good meals round there last time I was there (2000)
Pub lunch at the ?dog&something? (pheasant??) in Brook was good, also a restaurant in Godalming was good, I think it was called the refectory or similar?

Not much help, really, was I?
