Over the easter break i'm gonna give the car a thorough spring clean and was thinking of cleaning the engine bay as well, with some of the autoglym engine cleaner stuff.
What electrical things should i cover up? Am i right in thinking the air inlet is underneath the engine? Where is the distributor?

Thanks!
Chris.

air inlet is under engine - under the airfilter is where you will find the cap with all the HT leads - would think water / solvents etc would be bad anywhere near here - come to think of it there may be quite a few places not to get stuff water / solvents etc in - I have had good luck with a damp microfiber cloth on my Tamora engine bay but have not been brave enough to try the engine area, it doesn't get that dirty

be very careful where you put water.
generally water & TVRs (esp electrics) are not good together

I just use a damp microfibre cloth, and on the airbox I use a bit of quick detailer.
