So, having recently parted with my Chimaera 500, I've been clueless about what to get next. Thought about a Tamora, but am steering away from TVR

Anyhow, I'm now serious about a lightweight pure sportscar, and have narrowed my choices down to an Elise S2 or a Caterham. I'm leaning towards the 7, but as I have not driven one, I'm wondering if there are any specialists or dealers in the Hants/Sussex area? I cant see anything on the web.

Any tips - or, any PH'er 7-pilots in the Chichester Area that could take me for a spin/provide some advice?

Cheers.

Sharky,
Good choice! There are a few specialists who have Caterhams in from time to time, but your best bet for a wide choice to view and try would be Caterhams themselves. They're only along the A27 and at the top of the A23. Have a look at their website to see what they have in stock at Caterham South.
On the other hand the Lotus 7 Club have their West Sussex Area Meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (next week!) at the Gribble in Oving off the A259 chichester to Bognor road, which is possibly not too far for you. They're a friendly lot and love showing off their cars.
If you're interested, PM your phone number or e-mail address and I'll send you contact details.
I'd also have a good look around the Club website www.lotussevenclub.com/ and click on Blatchat and 7FAQ for tons of useful info. You only have to be a member to post on the forums, otherwise you can access everything.
Good luck,
Alan

Be wary of Bens words "happy to take you for a spin!". :-)

Hmm...yes, I thought the same...but didnt want to seem churlish of his offer!

Does he have a reputation, then?
