Value/Opinions on this 996 cab
Discussion
Would value your opinions on the following car:-
996 Cab c2 manual pcm1,psm,bose,xenons, sports gt3 18" alloys, nice colour combo for me (lapis with dark blue interior). Basically well specced, miles are up on average 55k, september 02 plate (02 model year)3 prev owners. Mid 30's from indie dealer, good reputation.
I plan to opc check and warranty it, he takes off his 3rd party cost. I would buy private but this seems a pretty good price/spec. I'm little concerned that over 3-4 years we may bust the 100k barrier (hopefully with a new opc engine and gearbox !) and the consequent reduction in value/difficultly in selling but neither do I want to drive around looking at anything but the rev counter ! I'd rather use it and enjoy it.
Comments please non hairdresser ones especially, it's the wife's car honest ! and at least it's not a tip! do tips command a premium, likewise c4 vs c2 no boot but more grip in extremis?

The indie price seems fairly good. Henry has an 02 cab in silver for sale at £36995 - no mileage mentioned
I personally wouldnt place any kind of premium on a tip, and to be honest unless you really want one, stay away.
The C2 does have bigger boot space. Once you have driven a C2 i doubt you will need convincing of whether the C4 is more grippier as the C2 does most things very very well.
I suspect the trade values a C4 slightly higher, but only by 500 quid or so and this will undoubtably diminish to zero as the car gets older.
Good luck
