Would any existing or soon-to-be TT owner be interested in a group buy (ie discount) for an aftermarket exhaust system?

Just guaging interest...

Yep, depending on final costs of course.
Will it make it sound like the GT3 I just test drove ????

I can vouch for Techart bow sounds very OEM like below 4k rpm, anything above, especially when boost kicks in is just awesome... better than my old Tubi'd M5.

i know of a milltek stockist that would certainly do a deal for quantities.

i'm still in two minds over changing the system on my tt- really need to actually hear a few in the flesh or be motiviated by a cheap deal whichever comes first.

Heres a tip from the trade.

I like the techart best.
Makes a turbo sound like a wailing lamborghini diablo

I remember when Evo did a piece on the DMS 996TT, they mentioned a figure of £2200 for the DMS system. But that was a few years ago.

There is an article about the DMS 997TT in May's Evo Mag.
The exhaust alone is £2600 fitted.

By far one of the best is Europipe, I have the Fabspeed which gives one of the best performance wise, but the sound is pretty bad (exhaust note and drone)

There was another recent shootout and the Fabspeed and Europipe were tops, there is a new generation Fabspeed which has cured some the noise issues. According to others I know the Miltek is a superb piece of kit but performance is not as good as the Fabspeed or Europipe, I have had a Miltek in the past (RS4) and the build was a work of art!

I would be up for a Europipe group buy for sure!

It might be worth a little wait to see what's around the corner soon!

I know that there are some Titanium systems on the way, there has already been a few released by unknown randoms, I would rather have a reputable company producing these and wait to see if any issues, I did hear that the Titanium welds were prone to break up (brittle)

Even more weight loss!

Yip, remember this post also, but seriously I know a few guys that have had the Europipe on the dyno and they are very impressed with performance and exhaust note, with hardly any drone!

Bloody expensive though, lol

Europipe seems a popular choice. Check out this thread...
