No Lambda Readings

Hello all...

I have no lambda readings for either 1 or 2 - ie both on 0.00 constantly. Can it be that they have both given up the ghost at the same time, or is there another reason I should be looking for?

Could be the fuse that supplies them both.

wouldn't the car run a bit lumpy if the lambda's had gone, or not at all. Could it be the interface or software problem.

Its running really rich - the adaptives are reading 37 - you can smell the petrol and the pops and bangs are outrageous...

Fuse 19, I assume in the boot on the right hand side (int he fuse box unless there is an additional board somewhere).

Should be a 20A fuse.

Fuse 19 in the boot is ok...

Is there anything else I should look for?

Hi !

If you have the big connector for the engine underneath the coolant tank i should guess that you have some problems there, otherwise i should look at the connectors for the lamdas. In my car it was i little of dirt in one of the connectors which made the lamda to give strange values.
You have to wait a minute or two for the lamda sensors to warm up when you start the engine. Before the lamda is warm it gives you the value zero.

Both lambdas are reading 0.00 even when the engine is fully warmed up. Is there a point where they join the main loom that connects to the ECU?

they are dead i reckon mine did the same both went down at the same time
just bad luck m8 although mine were the original ones from 1996 so they did well
they are a pain to change on a ramp without one who knows
