Question about VXR Brakes

I am thinking about upgrading brakes on my 2004 5.7. How are the 2006 VXR brakes in comparison to my stock brakes. Also how much different are they from 2005 6.0 CV8 Brakes. Also, if anyone has a set of VXR brakes for sale let me know.

There was never a 6.0 CV8, 6.0 VXR brakes are a marked improvement over the 04 CV8 set up, there are some sets on ebay according to another post.

Greens di mine and it does make a difference. Not as good as APs but more than half the price

The Corvette C5 front brake pads,

Fit the stock factory PBR calipers fitted to CV8's.
A cost effective and simple up-grade as the swept area of the C5 pad is around 40% larger on the same back-plate.
