Saw these two today, not sure which I prefer but I think they compliment each other well.

White paint jobs are really growing on me, I'd have a white F430/G anyday.

What do you think? Does anyone on here own a white motor?

Cheers

Where was the photo taken? A record shop next door to a cafe selling sausage sandwiches and cups of tea for £1.90, heaven.

I'm wavering on white cars, they look good when professionally photographed but I'm not so keen when I actually see them driving about.

white is definetely becoming popular on hot hatches and it looks stunning on several supercars IMO (LP640, Gallardo Spider etc)
that 997 Turbo looks great in white the GT3 does too, gives it a proper trackcar hooligan sort of look!
Romans had this Bincio Fuji F430 Spider a while back www.romansinternational.co.uk/car.asp?id=290
it is an acquired taste but it does look pretty good i think!

yes
Tha 997 looks very "Middle Eastern" to me, if you know what I mean.

Strangely, I don't like it in white. I love the LP640 in white, and also the GT3, and Range Rovers and Arnages, but for some reason on that Turbo it just doesn't do it for me.confused

Edit: Love that QP though... Same colour as my dad's car.lick

White cars have always been popular in the UAE, I remember an article on the popularity of white cars in top gear circa 2005, I'm just wondering what colour will come next? Can't say I've ever followed a trend in car colours, I just go with what looks right for the particular car. I often feel guilt about choosing arancio ishtar for the 640 but then I'll see the sample and fall in love all over again. Anyway, back on topic, that colour looks "appropriate" on a QP, but i'm not a fan of white cars, the colour belongs on minicabs and emergency vehicles, hypercars can pull off any colour within reason, but the Porsche isn't a hypercar, its just another car.

ETA: the ride height at the rear of the QP looks silly, does it have adaptive suspension height? (not the skyhook damping system)
