What a bloody noise...

Yesterday pm , up in the office above the garage where the Griff lives I hear a quick blast of alarm siren. I looked out of the door to see where it came from and thought nothing more of it. Then it happened again , and again and I realised it was my Griff!!
So I opened the garage which confirmed it, legged it over to the house for the keys. The noise was bloody deafening. Alarmed the car - no joy!!
Out with the mobile and the fuse panel diagram. Could I find a fuse puller?? Could I buggery! Tool bag contents strewn all over the floor (and they dont see the light of day that often I can tell you!!). Frantic calls into FFG, Carl Baker and my local bloke Neil Garner resulted in my pulling the fuse - great, now all I had was a mini version of the alarm in the shape of the siren's own battery chirping, clicking and occasionally wailing. Got into the battery to disconnect it but the way the terminals were meant that I didnt have a short enough spanner to get leverage!!
Anyway thanks to help from the boys mentioned (I knew FFG had been through the same), we disconnected the battery and then pulled out the siren. When disconnected and wrapped in 2 towels and placed in a coolbox it was still merrily chirping away!!
Car made good , ears stopped bleeding and now Iv a trip down to see Carl at the end of the month to look forward to (Hope he still has that raving mad dog there!!).
Good news is I can double up on the trip and go and see his band play live in the night to see whether they would be suitable to book for the Growl BBQ in August.
Let me know if anyone fancys hooking up for a night on the 27th April - I believe he is playing somewhere near Waterlooville in Hants and he is sorting a local (Griff-safe) B&B for us!!

27th is a Friday - Chatsworth is a Sunday (22nd methinks)
