Halfords trade card

Just got one this morning. If any of you are in the motor trade then this is a good deal. Major discounts and I mean major! Good for parts, tools and oil at present. You may also apply if you have recognised certification in engineering (motor mechanics). I had to use a little persuasion as I'm an aircraft engineer but it was worth it. 150 piece Halfords professional socket set was £150 to Joe Public but got mine for £95.

I got one ages ago, well worth it. I saved 25% on a selection of ratchet spanners. It's not worth faffing about while they do the paperwork for small value items but once you get past £20 it's worth it. I don't think they even asked for a business letterhead when I subscribed.

As usual Bob, I'm not going to be able to make it. I got back from a month in Belgium last Sat afternoon and I leave for a month in Denmark on the 5th May. I have June at home then July in Southern england on another job, followed by 5 in August weeks in Cyprus and September in the North of England. I worked out I will have spent nearly 8 months away from Aug 06 to Sep 07.
Mrs not very happy and my daughter is growing up too fast. I can't believe she's a year old this month.
Maybe time to look for a less hectic post for a couple of years I think.
If you want things from Halfords, I'm more than happy to oblige. Not sure if the card covers ICE at the moment but will find out.
