Windscreen seal

Driving around in the glorious sunshine yesterday the seal/gasket that comes up and around the top of the windscreen started flapping in the wind - what is the appropriate adhesive for fixing it back into position?

Cant mines in bitstry to speak to one of the windscreen boys you see on the side of the road for some windsreen mastic/sealer or a w/screen fitting centre(dont use bath sealant its not in the same league)they normally give the stuff away if you ask nicely,dont tell the what its for it will go up £10

Clear or black Sikaflex, available through good autofactors. PARTCO etc.
