996TT servicing - to OPC, or not to OPC?
Discussion
Personally I wouldn't touch a car like that without a full Porsche history but that's just me. Don't even think about buying one without the warranty.
Warranty will remain valid if OEM parts used by a non OPC, BUT if something goes wrong don't expect any help with goodwill claims. And rightly so.
I've always found East London, Cambridge and West London provide great service if you make it clear what you want and don't want.

The amount that you save with an independent service on a relatively new car like the 996 TT will be wiped out many times over by the resale difficulty and any warranty problems.
I would stick with OPC until a car is 9 years old (and therefore is no long eligible for an OPC warranty) at which point they fall into the hands of proper enthusiasts and it's reasonable to start independent servicing.

I will do the yearly fixed-price service in order to maintain the FPSH. Any work outside of the menu price will be done by a specialist - most likely JZM, even though they are the wrong side of the M25 to me.
My thoughts as well, I have the fixed price menue service at an OPC along with any warranty work, anything outside of that like discs and pads will go to JZM
