disabled door release

can anyone help with this?

Once or twice over the last 2 years the internal passenger door release can be disarmed if the passenger presses the button just as i switch off the engine.

now eventually i do something that re activates the door release

can anyone tell me what i do or what i do or needs to be done to re activate the interanl door release again

try pulling the plugs out of the door control unit(black box located ontop of fuel tank in boot) for 30 seconds this usually resets everything

are you sure its not a dodgy connector behind the door panel

cant see how switching off the engine can disable the door button as the imobilisor activates some time after
