Im thinking about getting this ecu remap work done with tsl, because Ive heard that PPP ist usually down on power. TSL seem to offer something without any major parts change, that should be relatively undetectable to a subaru dealer re. warranty issues.

Has anyone tried them yet?

Is this something you do charlie?

If you have it remaped and your engine goes bang. And you go back to subaru and say the engine went pop.. They will be suspicious and will send back you ECU to prodrive to check the ECU. this will then show up that the MAP has been changed.

But if you have a STI then the reliable limit on BHP is 360BHP and a WRX around 290 on standard engine internals.

I've come across the TSL package, while it is a good package, it does not produce 333bhp, on a good day your talking 320bhp, which is no more than anyone else offer really.

Although we do not do mapping in house, I can organise for Scoobyclinics mapper Pat to map your car at my place. I'm sure i can wrangle a discount for a fellow PH'er.

You would of coarse need to source a Sports cat or decat exhaust and a panel filter yourself if you go down this route, however i'm sure i can recommend somewhere.

Dope me a mail mate

Will do Tif, will also see if i can get you a discount on the parts.

We don't deal with the remaps on the 350Z, however i'll see if i can get him a discount somewhere else

The Guys at TSL get their mapping done by Zen Performance in Wellingborough. Go to them directly, i think it's Paul that does the mapping...save yourself a shedload of cash...and it's ECUTEK mapping so undetectable to the Subaru dealer. STi's are pretty tough though and a 320bhp hike is nothing for them. I've seen WRX's have a 320bhp hike as a max with the proper exhaust, panel filter and fuel pump, so for an STi it's nothing. Also i reckon without any further mods Zen can probably get you upto 350bhp although after then you're likely to need uprated fuel pump and one or two other bits.

As my WRX is well out of warranty i do my own mapping which is cheaper but if my car goes pop...that's my problem. Good luck
