Your help please. I purchased some Bi-Xenons for my 964 from evil-pray and was wondering whether anyone has an idiots guide/instructions for fitting them, without using a drill!!

Pictures of a successful installation would also be welcome.

I am sure this is not rocket science, however I just do not see how to get all the wires, etc from the highlights through to the battery.

Many thanks.

I think there's a linky on Rennlist. IIRC Phil Raby did an article not so many moons ago about this, and at least two other Rennlisters have written articles about them.

First thing I'd say is get in touch with the supplier. Many H4 HID kits won't fit the 964 very easily as the wires aren't long enough. Ideally you need around 500-600mm between the ballast and the bulb.

get over to the pcgb 964 forum and look at this:

www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=257044

Neil's done it on my old 964.

neil - if you're reading this, I'm not sure about the carrera graphics!

You have to be a PCGB member - they do that to keep out the riff raff.

This is Phil Rabys (and my) old car with the upgraded lights fitted. On the ad there is a link to the article from Porsche and 911 world, entitled bright eyes. The lights are a great improvement over the normal 964.
