Rear light buld holder

well on of my connectors has given up the ghost and i need to get a replacement anyone know where to get one
it is the passenger side one , i can get it working temporarily but it shorts out the other side ,trouble is i need one quickly for the MOT

Is it the holder thats faulty or the multi plug ?

Sorted mine out buy spraying the plug with WD40 and bending the pins

definately the holder i had to fish the bulb out of the light as it just falls out

Northampton seems to be a scrap yard desert so unlikely to get one locally

Garage that did my MOT got me one last week , if you have no luck with above I will look into it for you.

Probably worth giving the connector block a good clean as well. I had to replace one of my holders a couple of months back as I my lights would have looked good at a Disco (replaced both in the end as they were that cheap) and noticed that the connectors could have done with a quick sand paper rub down.

The connector block is a bit of PITA to dismantle as there is a spring catch to hold each connector in the block.

Just dug out my receipt. It has the part number listed as 6067419 (£10.68 ex vat)

I took the bulb holder in with me. I said that the it was from from a Mk 3 Escort, but he said they work of the year so what was my reg #. Pointed out that this wouldn't help him. So he ended up choosing a late 80's Escort and matching the number from the holder.

I dont know much about Escorts but a friend of mine ,when he first saw my S2 as I opened the garage door said "hey they're Mk4 escort rear lamps ,fitted upside down" . I dont know if thats true but if it is and they are sided , be carefull you dont order the wrong one if buying individually

This wouldn't surprise me from TVR - aren't the Griffith rear lights just Vauxhall Cavalier units mounted upside down?

My new one is driver side and is 81AG13N004
are they handed or inverted ?
Is that what you need or do you need another code .

Both sides are the same part, one is just inverted.

Got mine from Quickco, part number F6067419. Annotation says 'esc 4' which I assume is Mk4 Escort.Both of the holders are the same.

they are the same for both sides

To get mine through MOT recently bought the light cluster for a fiver from the scrappy; that didn't work so bought the multiblock for £2, and scotchlocked it onto the loom; left the original block in place so that I didn't have to reconnect all the parallel connections in the original block. Works great!
