Gallardo was probably V-neo. Don't know the F40 though.

The F40 was most likely Gareth Lloyds as he lives near there (he posts on PureGT)

I'm not sure it that F40 is the same one, the one I saw yesterday had what looked like a white sticker on one side of the trailing edge of the rear spoiler.

not sure if he really "gets" what an f40 is for (in my humble opinion).

There is more than one F40 up North !!

There's always 2 or 3 over at R&D when I've called there.

I assume you know him and that comment is very much tongue-in-cheek (?)

I saw the same one in Telford - where I live over the bank holiday, it was pulling into the football/hotel ground car park.

unfortunately I noticed it too late to follow it in, but que mt pointing and shouting at the wife "Loook!! F40!!! - Look!!"

Her, just looking at me thinking I was mad....

Still, cheered me up.

Thanks

No I don't now him, Just that I would much rather drive it than polish it, not that there's a car more deserving full detailing, it's just it seems to me what with panel fit, paint thinness and lexan glass it's always going to look more racer than poser, yes coment very much tongue-in-cheek

Just goes to show you should never simply assume!

Trust me on this - it's quite probably the most 'properly used' F40 in the country, if not the world That was the first (and possibly last!) time it's been detailed in it's life, but it deserved it after all these years. It looks spanking new again, and ready for more action

Actually I detailed it and it is not a garage queen. It took me 2 months to convince the owner it would be worth it as he is a race driver and drives this thing hard. It goes to the Nordschleife and regularly gets a serious work out.

In fact the owner is so not a polisher he would not allow me to detail the engine as he maintains it himself and didn't want clean/slippy surfaces/components. So I think you've completely got the wrong end of the stick.

More pics of the F40 here....
