Great stuff at Mallory on Bank Holiday Monday.

I think I counted some 20 odd TVR's competing, good weather and lots of enthusiasm from everyone.

Best wishes to all.

Great stuff at Mallory. Couldn't agree more with skippyf1. Good, clean racing all the way down the grid, no stoppages or collisions. More fun already this year than the whole of last. All I need to do now is persuade the company I work for that my time would be better spent driving round a racetrack with their name all over the car than it would be if I was at work. Any suggestions as to how to broach the subject would be more than welcome.

As the last race was reduced to 15 minutes who do I apply to for the £30 tracktime refund or does it go as a credit towards the next meeting. Before any wisecracks about "running out of petrol" in both races, I would have put more in for the second race if it had been 20 minutes and wouldn't have run out until at least lap 22.
I also learned that having new rear slicks in the back of the van is not quite as good as having them on the back of the race car. It's a bad day if you don't learn something new.

They will be going on eBay as "light use only, new for 2006 season" if anyone is interested. I know of at least 2 of our erstwhile superstars have purchased "used but good" slicks from that source and were only slighty disappointed with there performance. Start price £50 the pair. Grab yourself a bargain.

Hope to be out again at some stage this year but all the best to everyone if I'm not.

Totally agree - a great weekend and lots of great racing. Particularly enjoyed chasing Tim in race 2, and I'm still getting over the shock of seeing him overtake me on the outside of Gerards on 2 and a half wheels!

Hope you manage to get more time off to come out and race again Tim - it's going to be a great year.

And thanks to all the Tivvers who came along to support, it really is appreciated and it's great to see you all there.

Hi Dave,

It looks like we're under-fuelling, so the car is running too lean, which will alos make the engine run warmer than it should.

We'll check the fuel pressure & the electrics to the pumps and we'll have a look at the plugs. We'll also check the throttle bodies out - but they should be ok.

All help gratefully received!

Cheers - Howard

ps - will call you to arrange popping down later this week...

Well done to all the racers for a terrific display at Mallory. The bigger grid provided some fantastic racing for the spectators all the way through the field. It's a real shame that there is currently no TV coverage cos races like these should be exposed to a wider audience.

I think I managed to see most of you guys in the paddock (sorry to Richard and Ben but I didn't manage to find you!!!!). The new guys seem to have settled in well too, great to see a Cerbie on the grid at last and some more colour in the paddock (read Sams and Petes overalls!!!)

It was great to see Gary again too (aka focused), have fun at the Nurburgring mate, can't wait to see the onboard footage of that one!.

The T350 is currenly having its rear wing mounts and end plates fabricated, should be finished tomorrow then off to Joo for the final fettling before a shakedown test next week. Then back to Newlun for a final polish and sponsor logos. If all goes to plan we'll be showing the car at Chatsworth, a bit more testing then a debut at Pembrey.

Good day at the races quite a spectacle with the bigger grids. Pity a few had problems.

I took a few pictures some of which can be found in the usual place:

Hi George, good to see you back in action at the track even if it is only behind a lens!

Any chance of some hi-res images that you took of lil' ol' 25 please?
