I am after the plastic hinge which is glued onto the under-side of the glove box, as it has broken. I am also willing to purchase the complete glove box cover and have it re-trimed.

Secondly, has any one carried out a suspension mod on a T350C. I currently feel that the standard suspension set up does not absorb the A & B road very succesfully and the car can on some occasions feel like it is air-bourne. I do not do track days, and am looking for a set-up that will allow the car to feel more stable and reasuring on our roads.

Thirdly, looking to have the front re-sprayed to eliminate usual stone chips. Not sure whether to go through insurance or not due to maybe increase in premium. Can any one suggest a garage that carries out work to superb standards. The car is a Cooper Green.

Any help on the above will be much welcomed.

Re hinge, you're probably best off conting a breakers to see if they have one - Bell Hill Garage usually have few T350's in.

I was not happy with the suspension on mine when I bought it so I had it changed for Nitrons, about £1175 incl fitting IIRC.

Not sure if you'll be able to go through your insurance company for a front end re-spray just to sort out stonechips, if you have a ding then different matter. Newlun Performance in Northampton will do a good job and I think they will give yuo a courtsey car too.

Hope this helps.

Dear Hoolio

Thanks for your reply, I have tried most breakers and no luck so far, and as far as the front end I have a little crack due to speed hump damage so I am hoping insurance will pay out, only problem is exess is £500.00, so may go privately.

With regards to suspension mods, does your car feel and handle much better on the roads. does it jump about under hard acceleration etc, etc?

Car now feels as solid as a rock under hard acceleration and breaking, makes a huge difference to the standard set up as the car was really twitchy with the original suspension. It's well worth the investment, plus you can then adjust the ride height so you don't bash the front.

Good luck.
