Instruction in the art of driving whilst looking out the side window is provided on the day, as is lunch and refreshments.

I am booked on a different day though.
I've done this day with Caterham. It could have been excellent - but they were too many participants and not enough cars. So limited time behind the wheel and a long day with much hanging around.. Didn't feel it was good value for money. I'd recommend that anyone considering this day ask precisely how many cars will be available and how many participants there will be. Then do the maths for yourself before you part with your money.

Phew, I thought I was going to be the only one to say something like this. It is a good day but the amount of time actually spent in the car is probably no more than 15 minutes. When I did it there was a journo from AutoCar there who spent all day chatting with everyone and the other "drifters" were a good sort too so whilst I enjoyed it, I would agree that it isn't such amazing value for money at £200 but more so at £160.

Thats weird cos we got LOADS of time in the cars.........there were 6 cars and about 12 participants....in and out, in and out.....loads of time...........
Must have changed format......

I have just got back from this caterham-run drift day and I can echo TheYeti's voice on this. We had 17 participants and 3 caterhams running the course all the time from 9am to 5pm, with only a short break for lunch. It was absolutely worth the money. I lost count of how many times I went out in their cars. To keep it interesting, the course layout is changed a few times through the day.
The food was above my expectations too - nice sandwiches, pork pies, various fruit and chocolate, and as much tea, coffee, fresh orange, water or squash as you could drink.
I can't recommend this highly enough. It's well worth £200, never mind the paltry £160 with the PH discount.

...and you would have to set up the car for the autotest (rear tyres less grippy than front, + different geo), pay for the tyres, and the fuel, and the costs of any damage (one car died on our day - not sure what happened but the caterham folks just wheeled another one out for us).

I must admit, I did feel a bit selfconscious about them, but on reflection, I'd rather have my sparco boots on than have to chuck both my trainers out the car each time I got in, which is what a lot of the bigfoot-people had to do in the non-SV cars (including you!) haha.
