Any of you ducati experts suggest what tyre pressures I should be running?

Std suspention set up (I believe)
Bridgestone 014s F&R
Slow (learner) rider - no pillion!!!
Road use only (for now)

Shop advised (I think) 35/41
Currently checked and re-set to 35/41
Have read elsewhere to run 35/39 for road (32/35 track)
Ducati seem to reccomend 32/35 single or 35/39 with pillion.

Any advice/suggestions?

Cheers,

Virgil.

Why are you disregarding the ducati recommendation? Surely they tested the bike for 0000's of miles and found that to give the most even wear/grip?

Not dissregarding, but as the shop said it was set to the reccomended 35/41, when I read on the net (handbook does not state a pressure) that 32/35 is for single user use, I thought I'd check. Also tyre not OE, so I thought pressures may differ for different tyres??

Ah ok, i would stick the ducati pressure as providing the tyre is of the same style, i.e. not a touring tyre in place of a sports tyre, whereas i'd be wary of the dealerships recommendation as they won't have as much experience in tyre pressure set-up
