I have a 94L chim 400 with T5 box and i think i have a gkn diff (fins), i haven't got around to buying the bible yet, would anyone be able to tell me what oil to use in the gearbox and diff and what their approximate capacity is? I plan on changing these before i take her on a long run this weekend, many thanks.

There are lots of choices of which oils to use.The minimum spec is an ATF in the gearbox, and 80/140ID in the Diff(same diff had an SAE 90 recommendation on earlier cars!).Personally i use Redline MTL in the box,and redline heavy Shockproof in the diff.
I *think* the capacities are something like 2.1 litres for the T5 and 1.4 litres for the diff.
