Does anyone know if it's possible to have the alarm beep or something when the doors are locked with the remote on a 996. It's silent at the moment other than the locking mechanisim itself which is very quiet, especially in a busy street. I know the indicators flash once, but a beep would be better if easy to set up.
Cheers

Totally agree with you, Im in the habit of checking now manually which makes having a remote worthless

Hello

Im sure you can set this up with the porshe tester in the coding options will try today and come back to you..this was something to do with our law i beleive it emits too much noise pollution so i was told at a training course will try and come back to you today.

Mike - any chance you can see whether this is possible for a 997 as well?

HI

Typical the only car i can get to today the key doesent work

Do not know about the 997..will also try and find out.

Im sure you can but you have to code the car to say a begium market in the alarm control module..i have heard a 996 cab beep when locking it.( this was not the horn beep that lets you know you have not secured something either)
