Removing Tuscan Roof, Question?
Discussion
just wondering the correct way to remove the roof and refit, also storage of the roof and window?
(eg, front or removed 1st? and which goes in the boot 1st?)
cheers,
Lee.
Also, what is the correct start up procedure, how much time should you leave the car to warm up etc before driving?
(that was supposed to say Tuscan in the topic title incase noone fgured it out!)

Sorted!
OK Release roof! to remove, rear out first front out last...
to refit, front in first rear in last, relock roof.
Rear into boot first, locate pip into front slot.
TAKE YOUR TIME!

Lee. Two questions. 1st, why no bag? Have you specifically asked the seller? They all come with one and its not the sort of thing easily lost. I would imagine that if you trawl through "Sprint" or classifieds for breakers you may well find one.
2nd.. Has it come with a warning triangle velcroed to inside of boot lid?? If yes then make sure you put a towel or something on the panel when in the boot. These triangle have been known to come adrift and spend every corner sliding along the roof, with all the ensuing scratches this causes.

Thats what I was saying. Mine always goes in 1st but some people lay it across the panel, presumably to gain more space and of course this could scratch both.
Another missing bag mystery. Where are they all going ????

Ahhh, I see. Aye, it does restrict the space somewhat, I wouldn't be happy putting it on top though!
Cheers,
Tom.

When the boot is full it's useful to be able to lay the screen (in bag) over the roof. My OH made up an elasticated cover out of felt which we put over the roof and then lay the screen on the top. Makes sure we don't gain any marks on the roof, works very well.
