Spotted VXR8 ??

Hey I was driving upto and in Luton yesterday and spotted a red VXR8 (DE51RED) tried to get a closer look but 'the car in front was a toyota' and it wasnt moving fast!

What the general opinion on the looks/styling of the four door compared to the likes of the VXR Ro?

Does it look good in the flesh (what you saw of it)? I was talking to some Aussie guys about it the other day and they have all told me (the Holden version anyway) is definately worth a punt.

it would look a damn sight better if they painted the black plastic fog surrounds and the front air dam - either contrast or matched to bodywork. It looks "cheap" with the plastic and you just know that its going to discolour very quickly on our roads. Other than that it looks every inch a typical Euro box - lacks the class of the Monaro design. Least thats my opinion - others will disagree no doubt.

Agree totally with all the above,only to add the door mirrors need to be body colour as well, not half and half.
