It's a SEMSEC meet - these are usually filled with entries from SE-based competitors, many of whom rarely race outside of Lydden. You get a good variety of machinery and the drivers are very enthusiastic.
If you've never been to Lydden before you'll find it's a very pleasant and picturesque little track, you can see all of it from several viewing points and it's very informal (there's no pitlane), with a paddock you can easily wander round. I've always had a soft spot for the place and try and attend at least one meet there every year. They also do a mean bacon butty, too.

without knowing the circuit.. but lots of differnt sprint venues... if a 1 day meeting - then your looking at the morning being practice from about 9am-12pm, break for lunch then timed runs in the afternoon...
most sprints try for 2 practice runs in the morning, and 2 or 3 timed runs in the afternoon.
but the format might be different at lydden. but you'll get a morning practice period and race/timed runs in the afternoon. starting 8-9am depening on local planning restictions... and finishing around 5-6pm

On the race/sprint days at Lydden they cram the sprint practice and competitive runs into the morning and then the racers take the track over for the afternoon. It's a very busy day.
I'll be there sprinting on Saturday. As above, sprinting in the morning and SEMSEC races in the afternoon, a good days entertainment at a great little circuit. I haven't seen the full entry list but know our class has a bumper entry which is encouraging. You'll certainly see an eclectic mix of cars from mini to Porsche GT3 RS through Atom's, Radicals and single seaters.
If you want to follow the sprinting more closely, the times will be posted throughout the morning in the window of the circuit office by the paddock exit. And spectating really is great at Lydden, you can watch a car do a full lap from just about anywhere around the circuit.

Oh, and to actually answer your original question, the sprint will start at 9am and run to 12/12:30 before an hour for lunch. Imagine the racing will be done by 5-ish.

I'd make sure you're down at the paddock exit office for the race drivers briefing after lunch and grab whoever's there. Failing that, just have a wander through the paddock and talk to the other drivers.

To all those who have said Lydden race circuit is a great place for spectators, a friendly atmosphere and a good days racing , you were all correct
Went on Saturday and had a great day, really relaxed friendly and good racing with a good mixture of cars. Will definitely be going again soon.

Any chance you got some of the sprint in the morning M3Pilot?
