The lights on my Chimaera have packed up. I have no side lights or dipped/main headlights but the headlight flasher works.
I assume that it is the dashboard lightswitch that either has a faulty connection or is knackered. Two questions please:

1. How easy is it to remove the lightswitch?

2. Where can I get another one? - it is the later twisting silver knob rather than the push button.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Try TVR Power, they may be able to help you with the switch

To be honest I not that technical, but regarding the lights - the full beam on my 97 Chim 400 is worse than normal dipped beam!! Is this normal with TVRs??

if you have the facelift chim you need to take out the radio and undo a coupla screws to get the panel out. The light switch has a ribbon cable on the back of it - maybe it's fallen off - does the surround of the switch go green when you try to turn on the lights ?

Thanks everyone.
Snorky - none of the instrument lights illuminate when the knob is turned. Could this mean that the ribbon has come loose and there is no power to the switch?

Problem sorted. I removed the dash - the ribbon cable had worked loose so simply secured it and all is working again.
Thanks for your help folks!
