Boost Controller
Discussion
Finally got round to sorting my Boost Controller !
The orig one had siezed up and being as I cant resist a gadget, we fitted and AEM Tru-Boost at the weekend.
Getting the dash off is the most difficult !
We nabbed the original pressure feed to the standard boost gauge and ran the new loom down the tunnel.
The actual solenoid is a little bit bigger than the original so we had to mount it on the IC box frame rather than by the throttle body.
It's a natty bit of kit to use, you program "A" boost and "B" boost and then switch between them on the fly with the front buttons. Going for about .6 bar as A boost and 1.1 (ish - TBC) on B boost. There's also an input for a scramble boost....ie an overtake button
Just need to get over to WRC now for a dyno session to map it all up properly

Good stuff...I had quite a bit of work done there on my Evo in the past. They have a great 4WD DD dyno and good workshop. You should be able to dyno your RS4 there too to see what it makes. I'd be interested to hear the results.
Say hi to Allan if you see him. He'd asked me to pop in one day so they could all take a look at a Noble to see if they could develop/stock upgrade packages for us owners. I never got the chance to take it up as it is quite far
