That looks ferocious. What a weapon - and no doubt eye-wateringly expensive. What I'd love to see someone do, though, is a stripped out lightweight Cayman - an RSish one such as Porsche keep supposedly threatening us with. White, stripped, tidy cage, lightweight buckets with quilted cloth, no PASM, lightweight engine internals, lightweight carpet and reduced sound insulation, maybe carbon roof and front/rear decks if the boat's being pushed out. A club racer in the spirit of the 968 CS. The 997GT3 is superb, but at 90k+ with one or two bits on, it's hardly a toy.
ETA - Another photo from Mekon's source. Looks great.

Hey people FORGET IT!! The car is NOT based on the CAYMAN. I read the German car magazine "Auto Motor und Sport" Yesterday and they say it is 911 front chassis and the rear is a own engineered by Ruf aluminium tubular frame - so no Cayman-stuff at all! - I am so happy to tell you that - because the PURE 911 ROCKS - and Ruf knows that
