Hi,

Does anyone know if I can change the rear lights from my 97 Chim 400 to the face lifted rear light that are TVR designed and appear on the later cars? If so, any ideas of cost?

IIRC I think TVR Power do a conversion for somewhere in the region of £450 - check their website I'm sure it's metioned somewhere on there.

Try Webbs (TVR Bodyshop? in Bristol) or Fibreon (damagedtvr.. or something in Brum) Google should get you to them

I'm halfway through doing mine today. Both outer lenses have leaked and gone manky so got myself some black lexus style lights from ebay for £75 (not the horrid chrome ones). Removed the old lights and outer covers today, cleaned up and repainted the black border on the outers ready to refit tomorrow.

Not a hard job at all.

Me and my big mouth....

Due to the design of the new lights I cant use the screws to hold them in, so its good old no more nails/grab adhesive *sigh*. On the upside though the new painted outers look great and I've repainted the black inner in gloss. Once the glue has all dried and I've put the black sealant on its going to look great. As usual a few hours work has turned into a few days (mostly waiting for glue and paint to dry)

Rear lights all done, yes I know these wont be to everyones taste but I love them, big improvement over the old fiesta lights. And with my cleaned repainted and resealed outers hopefully no more condensation !

Regardless of what people think about the style (and I think they look good) the overall effect is very professional. Congratulations!
