Just wondering as I haven't had much experience with air cooled Porsche's i.e 993, just wanted to know what sort of running costs would be associated with this type of car i.e servicing etc
Would it be as quick as 996 TT or GT3.

It's been on sale for a long time so obviously over priced - what would be a recommended price.

I know I've posted cars I'm looking at but I'm new to Porsche and want to get as much info as possible before committing myself.

Thanks,

looks 2-3k over priced but not much comapred to other similar mileage 993TT

reckon the colour and lairy GT2 bits may put a lot of 993TT buyers off (I like it)

The 993TT was a car i was considering when I couldn't find the right 996GT2, then the right car came along otherwise I would definately have travelled for a look.

Looks a great car IMO, and I personally like the colour, kit & wheels, however it has been for sale for a while. confused Definately worth a look and i'm sure there's a good deal to be had considering the price and timescale that its been on the market.

What sort of performance differences would there be between that and say a GT2, especially if it is running 430BHP?

Firstly let me state: 996GT2 = there is no substitute.

I've only had a short drive in a 993TT and was very impressed, similar power delivery and superb AWD traction. The 993 shape is sublime but the interior is a very different place to the 996, its very basic with less room than the 996 IMO.

Not wanting to get into the Aircooloed vs Watercooled debate I suggest you try both and see which suits you best.
