Im getting a swag from Oz but its proving a real bastard to get posted over here. weeping

It only weighs 12kgs but Oz post have thier knickers in a twist because its longer than 1m so it wont fit in one of their containers for air freight.

If anyones coming back from there and would carry it with them, I will cross their palm with gold. readit

Its amazing to me how difficult the whole process has turned out to be in this day and age!!

It is possible but to have them couriered will cost 4-500 bucks which is more than the swag costs! yikes

Well, my parents have been making enquiries from over there on my behalf so Im not sure.

How long and heavy were they both together?

Mine package would be about 1200mm long by 600mm wide by 600mm deep and weighs 12kg. Might head to their website....

Think back long and hard... do you owe yr parents anything??
hehe

Dunno when he returns but Jace (Raggyman) is over there now, prob visiting folks in Nth Qld? I can email you his UK mobile if you wanna text him?

Also, I had a HSV Coupe rear spoiler sent over by TNT 2 years ago, took 3 days and cost £280 plus some taxes. Was over 1000mm for sure.

I have found it hard to send large stuff around the place too. The courier companies generally only deal with businesses.
You could try these people, I was nearly going to use them for bumper bars but the bars are a really awkward shape and would only have been a good idea if I had sent 10 and not 1 !

This may be a silly suggestion but have you thought of placing the spoiler diagonally in a larger package. If 1m is their largest size a 1mx1m package will take an object 1.4m long idea

shout WELL THANKS FOR NOTHING RAGS!!

Destined to sleep on the ply wood of the van for the rest ot the year...

Demolition Man - Its a fair point but apparently the high density foam wont scrunch too well. Considering sending swag sans foam and sourcing soe once it gets here....

Yeah will happily go back.. for ya... Don't worry, I am devistated just like you are. I know where I would rather be.

Going back for bathurst this year, so could pick it up for you then. Might be quicker to send it via sea.

I was kind of with the thread until this point, I was assuming you meant a swag as in a roll of clothes and camping equipment that you had out in australia, but mentioning high density foam and you lost me. what exactly are you trying to ship home? and if you can get one without the foam you should as why are you paying postage on something you can get here.
