My T350 is due for a service in the next few hundred miles and I don't want to cut corners but at the same time I don't want it to cost a fortune as I've already spent about 6k since getting the car in September last year.

I have been quoted £495 incl VAT for a 12k service including tappet check/adjustment by APM Automotive. I've not used them before and they seem to price themselves very well.

Has anyone got any views on APM and if so could you either post on here or PM me.

TIA

I was thinking the same, only I'm worried it'll invalidate my warranty? They're much closer for me than my main dealer...

I don't have a warranty and the car has covered 24k miles now (03) plate so not really worried from that point of view. I actually need a 6k service + tappet check but he said if I got a 12k service it's cheaper and includes tappets.

Avoid using APM at all costs.

As his existing customers want to keep him all to themselves.

Why are you worried about a warranty, they are no more! Save your money and get the cheaper service done. Then when something goes wrong, use the spare cash you saved on the service. Warranty's are no more, is there actually any body doing warranty work? I dont think so!
