Updated Sat Nav

[Dreammeister]

Hi,

Does anyone our there know if there are updated sat nav CDs available for my 2003 996?

I was driving down the M6 toll road the other day and it thought I had gone off-road.

Thanks

Mal

I don't I'm afraid, but while we're on the topic of sat nav, does anyone know if you can upgrade the PCM on a 997 (MY 07) to include safety camera locations?

You can get upgraded PCM1 discs from here, but dont know about PCM2

On a related but different note does anyone know if speed cameras can be added to the SatNav. Pisses me off that I have to stick a Road Angel to the windscreen. If not are there any alternatives to the windscreen wart?

Likewise - My wife has a Tom Tom with speed camera updates, and on a long journey we often bring that into the 911 to avoid those hidden cameras!

I know that it was possible to update the sta Nav on the BMW M3 to include fixed location "safety" cameras, but I think that system is (surprisingly) much more sophisticated that what I ahve on the 997 911.
