Advice needed..997 GT3RS
Discussion
I am picking up a 2008 RS in September in Germany, mainly as an occasional track car. However, it might see a limited amount of road use. I had a look at one at the dealer (in Canada) and had a close look at the Michelins.
How suitable are these things for general use?..I was thinking of getting a second set of rims and putting on the tires used on the 997 Turbo...and just use the Michelins for noodling round on the track. The Michelins look a bit scary in the wet.
Any thoughts?

These aren't quite as extreme as the normal cups, and i was pleasently surprised
how good they are in wet/cold conditions...
They have a sliglty deeper tread, and with slightly wider grooves, so they were obviously
designed for the best of fast road/ track driving...
Standing water will be the only ass clincher, but even then, they aren't too bad,
as long as you are sensible in the worse conditions, then they are a great alrounder..
