Re-bodied Diablo from Argentina

The Alar - once a Diablo
The Alar - once a Diablo
Take one Lamborghini Diablo, hand over around £380,000, and you too could own an orange ‘Alar’ like the one in the pictures. Hmmm.

The Alar is the latest work from Joan Ferci in Argentina. Still, if it's not your thing, there's always their earlier efforts, the Eros GT-1 or Coatl…

What a hideous abomination. I dislike it intensely.

It looks, and I can't think of a better word, stupid.
And the price! Quite how daft you'd need to be is unthinkable!

I'm off to find a thread about attractive ladies or something...

But...but the Diablo is one of my favorite cars weeping

I wouldn't have the heart to do that to a Lambo.

It does look like one of the better executions of a front wing on a car that I have seen recently. Does it generate positive downforce?

I understand his next project is an MR2-replica kit for a Ferrari 348.

I really like it. Ford Focus ST meets Halfrauds meets Ripspeed. The rear visibility must be improved also.

Just kidding

I think that car is at least half-Klingon.

Seriously, they can have the Falklands back if they just aggree to stop vandalising Lamborghinis.

The only possible justification (IMO) for changing Marcello's original look would be if you already had a banged up Diablo and wanted to make something visually different out of it. Then, perhaps, this is one solution.

But £380K? Please! If you wanted something different, you can pick up an EB110 for £150K (and that had a carbon tub). Why the hell would you pay 3 times that for a bastardised Diablo?

I can only imagine this is some sort of publicity exercise. They sure as heck aren't going to sell any. Especially in Argentina. They have beautifull women and beautifull horses. Can't see 'em lapping up a mongrel.
