can anyone recommend a competant BMW dealer in the heathrow / west london area.

The place i use currently are pants... every bit of work they have carried out has been well below standard...

Any suggestions

Might be a bit far but Cooper in Reading have been good for my servicing and requirements? And they matched external tyre quotes to keep my business too...

Forget main dealers, go to an independent. They are often better trained, have all of the latest software, access to OEM parts and labour rates that offer better value for money. Warranty work is also undertaken without question.

Birds in Uxbridge are pretty good.

Look at this website, there are some great garage reviews

There's a top indie in Colnbrook - Autotech. Recommended by a few different mates, although I've not used them (yet).

And also another one in Maidenhead, again an independent but ex BMW and Porsche GB. Looks after a lot of my stuff and has always been top drawer. Sixbay on 01628 782818 ask for Andy. He's the man.

There is a great bunch of guys who operate out of the back of Berkshire BMW, just to the West of Maidenhead near White Waltham airfield. Treat my brother and his 318is very well.

Sytner High Wycombe have been pretty good to me on my warranty claims. Maybe give them a try?

Blimey, they have been next to useless for me. I now travel up the A1 to Murketts, the only BMW dealer to have a clue in my experience...
