My car has been running hotter than normal after popping the expansion cap on Sunday,i.e high 80`s low 90`s,then mid 90`s in traffic, this might sound normal to some of you but my car has always run a few degrees lower, i reckon i might have a airlock after refilling the expansion tank? I know on the T350 and Sag there are 2 bleed bolts on the coolant rails, but there isn`t any thing like that on the Tamora I have found a nut on top of the rad which will be a pig to get at, i take it this is the only bleed place?
To bleed... do you do it with the cap off? and at what water temp? Engine running or not?
Any other tips?
Thanks Tony

Take the radiator cap off with the engine running. Hot air expands, bubbles will rise to the top. Sorted

With the bonnet open, looking at the front of the car, there's a bleeder valve at the right hand side of the car (i.e. passenger's side) that you can get to between the gap at the back of the front of the bodywork and the front of the bonnet. If that makes sense. Small(ish) allen key to open it half a turn or so. Would do this with the cap off the expansion tank, and running the car at a couple of thousand revs to keep everything circulating. Then top up as necessary once the air bubbles have stopped coming out of the valve.

Question would be why it started this in the first place - did the car "pop the cap" of its own accord?
