Summer is here, average temperature goes up, time to adjust the pressure in the tyres. I noticed last weekend that the ride feels just a little harder, and the steering is razor sharp with the slightest twist of the wheel resulting in too much wheel turn.

The Gallardo seems very sensitive to tyre pressure, or perhaps it’s just a good chassis allowing me to feel such a small change. Setting the tyres to 34psi all round today which will make such a difference to handling.

Thats weird that you mention tyre pressures. Coming home from the pub last night I over took three cars, as i go to pull back in it violently veers side ways across the road with the tail out. After a bit of sideways back and forth I stop and find a wacking great screw in the rear tyre and its nearly flat!! So you're right they are sensitive to tyre pressures!!

The joys of motoring eh!!

The stripes enable the additional velocity to pass three cars in a row!

What do you gouys normally have your pressure at?

The fronts are about two psi different from the back right?

I run the fronts just 0.5 psi lower than the rears. 34 on the rear, 33.5 on the front works for me during the summer.

Cummingsa I really never think you will get away with posting without one of your friends throwing it at you!

So funny that something like that happened, and not when you were totally alone and able to stew on it without other people knowing, on the way to a track in a convoy is just sublime misfortune!!!
Even had a chuckle when I read the reference in Evo magazine.

Larry runs 32psi front and 34psi rear, with no complaints. Tyre life is about 5500 on the rears. Fronts seem to last forever (or atleast, until you get a puncture).
